One of my HG mineral foundations is from EG Minerals and when they had their 30% off sale last January I got myself a full size bottle without trying out samples. A full size 1 oz. (30ml) bottle costs $25 so the 30% off is a big discount. The shade I got is Helena which is my match with the regular mineral powder and mousse formulas.
The foundation comes in a glass pump bottle which is ideal to keep it germ-free. It is easy to control the amount to pump out so I have no problem in that area. The photo below is the amount I use for half of my face. I use a stippling brush to apply it to give it an airbrushed look and to apply it thinly. I initially used my fingers but it applied a bit thick. Coverage is medium to full depending on the amount of application.
The foundation is feather-lite on the face. It does dry fast and matte so you need to blend it very quickly. That's why I only apply on one part of my face then get more pumps as needed for the other parts. It really does make you look flawless but the matteness isn't too flat matte on me because I have oily skin. No itching or breakouts too and it does last the whole day.
The longest I've had it on was last Monday for my cousin's wedding. I applied it at 7 am since it was a morning wedding and removed it at around 5 pm so that's around 10 hours. The whole day was hot and I didn't need to retouch at all. I blotted only around lunch time. I still use a finishing powder because I always do to fix the product.
One downside is that it transfers. Right after application I was starting to sweat because of the heat (and I was in a hurry!) so I blotted my face with a tissue. The foundation transferred onto the tissue. I had to apply 2 layers of finishing powder then spritz my whole face until damp and blot dry with a sponge to prevent transfer.
Here's my FOTD from Monday taken 3 hours after application:
Etude House BB Magic Pact lightly applied on whole face
EG Minerals Hi-Def Foundation in Helena - 1 layer using Lumiere Dual Fiber brush
Skin Food Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder
Dreamworld Cream Topping (finishing powder)
blush: Fresh Minerals Blush in Venice
eyes:
UDPP as primer
Stila Gold Glow Trio
Stila Barbie LBD gel liner on upper lid
eye brows: Palladio tinted brow gel
lips: MAC 3D Glass in Algorithm
*I can not review the other claims like anti-aging, skin firming and plumping of fine lines as I don't used it daily.

thats really nice i hope they make more mineral liquid foundation hehe, especially our local mineral sellers ^_^
You look great in it sis! Ang hirap naman to get a match since it's not locally available...
Nikki: it is a good one!
Camille: good thing a lot more local ones are popping up. just hope they're good quality too.
HRB: you can try out samples since they do have them available. You can also email them and ask for help. That's what I did before I found my match.
wow liquid MMU?! am a bit slow now hehe. but that sounds promising, especially when you say it lasts long. does it transfer easily though? that's what i hate about foundie.
Mhean: there was a bit of transfer but I didn't set it right kasi.
Some brands are very popular but it affects somehow our eyes. Eyes are essential part of our body…
