Catching Up!

Hello everyone!

Time to catch up.  I am still feeling a bit under the weather but nothing serious.  My allergic rhinitis is making me relapse with my difficulty of breathing.  It's now more of an annoyance because it hinders me from doing most things.  Additional medications too.  I'm now a walking pharmacy with all the meds I'm taking :-(

Plus the heat!  El Nino is not only affecting our poor farmers...it's also affecting my (our) health...making it worse.  I do have a ton of stuff to try out but I just don't want to put anything on my face nowadays.  Just my light moisturizer, sunblock and lipbalm daily and that's it.  Plus or minus the powder, lip gloss and blush when going out and nothing else.  I haven't even opened at least half of my hauls.

I did have a haircut last February again from Tony & Jackey.  I can't say I'm not experimental with my hair coz I always have a different hairstyle like 2-3x a year...from long to short!  And here's another one:

The Korean stylist and I couldn't understand each other so we needed an interpreter, ha! So my hair ended up like that. It's long in the front though.  It wasn't Calvin, my regular stylist who cut my hair coz I forgot he was off that particular day.  Oh well.  This is more a pain in the arse to maintain coz I need a styling serum and a wax and a different method of drying my hair to get it to look like this daily.  At least in a few months my hair will be long again as my hair grows fast.  Usually when I cut my hair short (chin length) at the start of the year, I am able to put it in a ponytail by December.

At last it's summer!  Again, busy with other activities but more for my DD's summer extra-curricular plans.  It was my mom and SIL's birthday last week so tomorrow we'll be going to the country club to celebrate.  We all love the food there and wish we could go often but it's too far (and year round Mom keeps badgering us to go there every Sunday).  Still something to look forward to on weekends: swimming, golf and eating at the country club!  And it's a hop, skip and a jump away from Tagaytay (more like a few kilometers away) to enjoy the cool mountain air.

I'll be posting more often now that I've uploaded and watermarked all my photos.  I'll be slow on reviewing the new products I have coz I haven't touched them yet as I've said before (and I've been side tracked by playing Farmville on Facebook as influenced by my tita and friend, LOL!).  I'll just be doing reviews of the things I've used and tried from months ago instead.

Up next, my haul from Feb. and March.  Stay tuned!

Nikki, I'd love to see a front shot of your haircut, I'm intrigued! I experiment with my hair too, although it's been on the short side for years now. It's fun yet scary, isn't it? :-)

Hi Nikki! Thanks! I only wish the back was a bit shorter or more of equal length but still with layers coz it is vey hard to maintain.
