DIY Headbands

Last week my DD had a play date with her cousin at my in-law's house.  It was a quiet and balmy Friday afternoon with nothing to do while the kids were playing when my MIL showed me new stuff she made.  She loves beading in her spare time and has made necklaces, bracelets and earrings, some to sell and most to give as gifts.  

Her latest project were headbands.  She made some for all the grand daughters.  I was so curious that she taught me how to make one.  So I made one for myself.  I used freshwater pearls and Murano crystals she had in her supply kit.  The wire I used were copper wires.  MIL also asked me to finish the one she was making for my DD and I made her another one too.  I used Murano crystals in heart shapes and beads for DD's headbands.

Wow, I didn't know it was this simple to make accessories and they sell them with a high price in malls.
